George Peat, PhD

Keele University

George is Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at Keele University, honorary public health academic consultant with Public Health England, and a member of the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research. His applied research focusses on primary care and the populations it serves with specific interest in the collection and use of observational data to advance understanding of the causes, consequences, prevention and management of osteoarthritis. He is Chief Investigator for longitudinal studies and pragmatic clinical trials funded by the Medical Research Council, NIHR, and Arthritis Research UK/Versus Arthritis.
